1. Data Reporting & BI Development



  • Tools: Power BI (primary), Excel (Advanced), SQL, possibly Power Query or DAX.

  • Tasks:

  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and paginated reports.

  • Build ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) via Power BI's data connectors or intermediate tools.

  • Ensure data model optimization: star/snowflake schemas, proper indexing, efficient joins.

  • Automate report generation and distribution.


2. Data Analysis & Interpretation



  • Data Types: Mix of structured (e.g., surveys, transaction data) and unstructured (e.g., open-text feedback).

  • Methods:

  • Descriptive analytics: trends, variances, segmentation.

  • Diagnostic analytics: root cause analysis using data joins, filtering, and correlation techniques.

  • Text analytics/NLP (if applicable): sentiment analysis on survey comments or feedback using Power BI custom visuals or Python add-ins.


3. Platform Administration



  • MarTech & CXTech Platforms: Admin support for platforms such as:

  • Survey tools (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Medallia, etc.).

  • Marketing Automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

  • Power BI Admin: Gateway management, dataset refresh schedules, workspace permissions.

  • Tasks:

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and configurations.

  • Troubleshoot data integration issues between platforms.


4. Process Improvement & CX Initiatives



  • Use data-driven insights to identify customer pain points and improvement areas.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, IT, and CX teams to implement:

  • Voice of the Customer (VoC) programs.

  • Customer Journey Mapping and performance measurement (CSAT, NPS, CES).

  • May involve creating CX dashboards aggregating data from multiple systems.
