Data Analyst / Data Quality Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join our data team as a Data Analyst with a focus on Data Governance and Data Quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data profiling, cleansing, and validation, along with strong SQL and Python skills. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data profiling to assess data quality and identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps.
Strong experience with Sql, DWH and DBMS
Develop and implement data cleansing strategies to improve data accuracy and usability.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data quality rules and standards.
Knowledge of Data reconciliation, integration testing and regression testing
Support data governance initiatives by maintaining metadata, data lineage, and data dictionaries.
Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and building reusable data quality scripts.
Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs.
Document processes, workflows, and best practices related to data quality and governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Insurance knowledge is good to have
