Job Details
Job Title: Senior UX Designer
Location: Austin, TX - 80% - 100% remote Job Description:
- 8 Required Experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI or a related field
- 8 Required Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
- 8 Required Experience conducting user and usability research
- 5 Required Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills
- 5 Required Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
- 4 Required Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts
- 4 Required Documented experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software
- 3 Required Experience ensuring designs and websites conform to federal accessibility guidelines
- 1 Required A portfolio of user research, visual design, and usability studies that demonstrates a high level of professionalism
- 3 Preferred Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"
- 2 Preferred Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
