Job Summary/Company:

Are you a hands-on technical leader with a passion for managing and mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Technical Support Manager to oversee our Operations Technical Support Team, focusing on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This is a 24x7 operation and the desired shift is Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. This position is available in NY, NY, or Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Oversee the Operations Technical Support Team, ensuring seamless support, task execution, and operational improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain operational documentation, reports, schedules, and checklists.
  • Shift Coverage: Provide coverage for day or night shifts and occasional weekend work.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and mentor 5-10 direct reports, focusing on skill development and contingency readiness.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5-10 years of practical work experience. Minimum 2 years of leadership in a data center environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Windows, Linux, Unix, IBM Pure Technology, AWS, DevOps, Agile processing, Networking systems, and Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Mainframe, Windows Distributed systems, MQ, WebSphere, and experience in Banking or Financial institutions.
  • Skills and Traits: Strong attention to detail, adherence to firm policies, excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
