RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Program Manager/Release Train Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid position, 4 days a week onsite in Orlando, FL.
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Manager with 5-10 years of experience (10 is amazing, but 5-7 is acceptable). There will not be much ramp up time, so coming from a similar industry would be nice, but is not required if they have the right technical experience.
Day to day:
* Tracking projects and ensuring go-live dates can be met
* Finding road blocks
* Ensuring deliverables are met in time
* Developing timelines and tracking work to stay on the timelines
* Going through data in Jira from a PM perspective to understand status
* Raise red flags on delays
* Sitting through meetings, getting updates, speaking up when things aren't going according to schedule
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the various projects a business implements to ensure they all align effectively with the organization's mission and the program's goals; The company's leadership team will typically inform Program Managers of their strategic direction and the goals they'd like the company to achieve
* Monitor the progress of several projects within their program to make sure they follow this direction and exceed these goals
* Building a budget for the program and must ensure all projects stay within this budget
* Create their own evaluation method to properly review and assess the strengths of their program and to determine any areas of improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient in Jira
* Hardware and Software knowledge would be a nice to have
* Leader mindset
* Able to work with many different personalities to provide feedback
* Able to own a process with little supervision
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
