Job Title: Procurement Agent
Location: 2244 Walnut Grove Ave, Rosemead, CA 91770
Duration: 12-Month Contract- Onsite
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Agent to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This role plays a key part in managing the procurement lifecycle from supplier evaluation to contract administration and reporting within a fast-paced and regulated business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Selection & Evaluation: Identify and assess suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure optimal value and mitigate risk.
- Order Processing: Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify procurement risks and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to uphold and enhance quality standards.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to track KPIs and inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with procurement or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of contract terms, supply chain practices, and vendor risk management
- SAP/Ariba, problem solving, risk management, adaptability,
