Primary Skills: IEEE 802.11(Expert), RF Engineering(Advanced), Network Protocols(Intermediate), Scripting(Basic), Troubleshooting(Expert)
Job Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will specialize in wireless technologies for campus environments, offering technical guidance, operational support, and adherence to security and architectural standards. You will collaborate closely with network architects to support design and initiatives, ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our global wireless network. The position requires implementing new services, ensuring compliance with wireless regulations, and documenting infrastructure components effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Network Architects on wireless design and initiatives.
Support, maintain, and troubleshoot the global wireless network.
Monitor, analyze, and report on wireless solution metrics.
Serve as a Tier-2/3 escalation point.
Lead the implementation of new wireless services.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficient in IEEE 802.11 standards and RF engineering.
Experienced in wireless network troubleshooting.
Knowledgeable in network protocols, including TCP/IP.
Industry Experience:
Extensive experience in the deployment and management of wireless networks within campus environments. Prior experience with multi-vendor technologies such as Aruba Networks, Mist, and Meraki preferred.
