Our client is seeking a Software Architect with Medical Device experienceto join their team in Bedford, Ma, on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will oversee the use of technology, architecture and design practices for a specific product line. They are looking for someone to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, as well as work on legacy products and brand-new products, setting the future of the product line and bridging the gap between future products and technology

- Owns overall software architecture for a product line.
- Ensures consistent use of the software platform across product lines and business units.
- Aligns technology, design, and architecture practices across programs.
- Leads code and design reviews to ensure reliability and alignment with product requirements.
- Coordinates technical efforts with team leads.
- Supports requirements strategy and ensures consistency across products.
- Evaluates and integrates third-party technologies aligned with business goals.
- Assists in task estimation and planning.
- Guides product Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with key stakeholders.
- Contributes to development of complex software components.
- Bachelor's in engineering and at least 15 years of experience or a Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience
- Highly skilled with C++, Linux and QML
