Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Systems Engineer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities:
Plan, deploy, and maintain Microsoft collaboration solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
Configure and maintain Microsoft tenant settings, including domain settings, federation, security, and external access
Configure and support workloads, services, and infrastructure within Microsoft Azure and AWS environments
Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions, including policy creation, application deployment, patching, and security compliance for all device types
Lead Windows 11 provisioning efforts using Intune Autopilot and maintain standardized deployment images
Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022), including roles such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services
Manage Policy Objects within Active Directory or Intune, ensuring security compliance and optimization
Implement security best practices for Microsoft tools, Azure, Entra, AD, and endpoint management
Desing, plan, schedule, test, and deploy security updates and patches using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, and Patch-My-PC
Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual machines (VMs) in platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V
Provide expert technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and assist IT support teams
Continuously improve productivity by analyzing deficiencies and recommend enhancements in tools, training, and processes
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, coding guidelines, and user manuals
Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure goals and ensure seamless cross-functional integration
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in IT, Engineering, and Operations
Proven track record of designing and implementing Microsoft solutions to solve business challenges
Extensive experience with Microsoft Entra technologies, including Entra Connect, Cloud Sync, Provisioning Service, and Domain Services
Strong expertise in Active Directory management, PowerShell scripting, and enterprise security practices
Proficiency with Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows 10/11 environments
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Advanced troubleshooting skills with a structured methodology for problem-solving
Experience with Azure DevOps, and Azure Bicep scripting
Expert experience with Microsoft Identity technologies for Active Directory
Experience managing backup and disaster recovery solutions, including Veeam Backup and Replication
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
Flexible work schedule to accommodate critical functions outside standard business hours
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
