Job Details

Role: ServiceNow Developer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Statement of Work:

ServiceNow platform development and enterprise workflow automation for JPMC. This includes building custom applications, enhancing ITSM/CMDB processes, integrating third-party systems, improving platform performance, and ensuring alignment with the client s large-scale banking technology ecosystem.

Task Description:

The ServiceNow Developer will analyze business requirements, design scalable workflows, configure modules, develop automation scripts, and implement integrations using REST/SOAP. The role supports upgrades, platform optimization, incident/problem management, and cross-team collaboration across the client s global IT operations.

Required Skills / Level of Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5 8 years of enterprise ServiceNow development experience.
Expertise in ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies.
Strong hands-on experience with Glide Scripting, Update Sets, Scoped Apps.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, and API authentication.
Working knowledge of Service Portal components and catalog UI development.
Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills working with distributed teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in ITOM, Asset Management, HRSD, or IRM.
JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS.
Knowledge of CMDB normalization, reconciliation, and mapping.
Experience in Performance Analytics dashboards.
Basic cloud (AWS/Azure) knowledge.

Certifications (any one is fine):

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or CIS-ITSM
