Job Details
We re seeking a GCVE Networking Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, implement, and optimize networking solutions within the Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) networking, VMware technologies, and enterprise-level network design and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, configuration, and management of GCVE networking components.
- Design and implement hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premise VMware environments and GCVE.
- Manage VPC networks, subnets, routing, firewall policies, VPNs, and interconnects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional cloud and security teams to ensure network scalability and compliance.
- Perform network performance tuning, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Document best practices and provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or cloud networking.
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and VMware NSX.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform networking (VPCs, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancing).
- Experience in Hybrid Cloud connectivity (Direct Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Private Service Connect).
- Knowledge of network security, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, VMware VCP-NV) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Experience integrating SDN and micro-segmentation.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
