Job Title: API Manager
Location: DC Metro (Virginia, DC or Maryland)
Any Visa
Onsite
Required Skills and Experience:
- Prior hands-on experience in API management platforms, such as API Gateway and API related activities such as: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, building API policies. - 3 Years
- Prior hands-on-experience in ISTIO Service Mesh is essential - 3 Years
- Prior experience with creating and maintaining design documentation including use cases and sequence diagrams.
- Provide routine administration including patching, deploying software, implementing changes, and server configuration.
- Knowledge configuring & maintaining Red Hat 3scale API Gateway Engineer virtual appliances.
- In-depth knowledge of JSON, JWT, and JWKS and their underlying specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of the various RFC 6749 OAuth Grant Flows.
- Familiar with using REST API to integrate API Gateway
- Familiar with Red Hat Single Sign on and Red Hat Openshift
Other Skills and Experience:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirement: A bachelor s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field
preferred with 7+ years of IT Engineering experience.
