Job Role Sr Business Analyst with Energy & Utilities domain

Experience Range - 10 yrs expr.

Location - Houston TX (Hybrid role 3 days in office)

Tentative start date: ASAP

Must have skills : Architecture (Capable), Data Modelling (Capable), Energy & Utilities, MySQL (Capable)

Good to have skills: Domain Knowledge (Capable)

Job Description : The Business Analyst's role in this project will involve

Gathering, analysing and challenging the functional requirements

Evaluating the technical solution and assess their feasibility and impact on the business users

Designing with the help of users the functional processes and ensure that IS processes are established according to those process

Documenting the component of the platform including functional specification, user stories and system requirements.

Facilitating the communication between business project's stakeholders

Performing change management As Business analyst the main activities include:

Conducting interviews, workshop and analysing existing documentation to gather requirement from business users

Breaking down complex processes and systems into manageable components to ease developer's implementation

Collaborating with stakeholders to refine processes and drive ongoing enhancements

Identify bottleneck, inefficiencies and area of improvement in the solution

Writing the functional specifications, ensuring a common understanding of the outcomes with development team

Documenting functional processes

Defining and accompanying activation/transition to the deployed solutions. This includes training plans and user support

Providing effective and timely communication to all relevant teams.

Providing regular progress report to project management team

Supporting continuous improvement of services and applications by identifying bottlenecks, bugs, and providing solutions.
