Role: Senior AWS Java Developer Supply Chain Management & Food & Beverage
Location: Remote

Overview:
We are looking for a Senior AWS Java Developer with extensive experience in cloud computing, Java development, and a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes in the Food and Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based applications using AWS services, while also leveraging deep knowledge of SCM systems to deliver efficient solutions that address the unique challenges of the food and beverage sector.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions on AWS to streamline and enhance supply chain management in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Java Development: Build and maintain Java-based applications and microservices, ensuring they are optimized for performance, security, and scalability within cloud environments.
- Supply Chain Management Solutions: Develop and enhance software solutions tailored to the supply chain needs of the food and beverage industry, such as inventory management, logistics optimization, production scheduling, and demand forecasting.
- AWS Services Implementation: Utilize key AWS services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SNS, and SQS) to build, deploy, and monitor applications that address SCM requirements.
- Integration & Automation: Integrate various business applications, ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle), and other tools using APIs, microservices, and data pipelines to automate SCM processes.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Java development and cloud-based application design, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience using AWS cloud services.
- Java Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Java, Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate), and best practices in object-oriented design and development.
- Cloud Expertise: In-depth experience with AWS cloud technologies such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
- Supply Chain Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain management processes, specifically in the Food & Beverage industry, including inventory, logistics, and production management systems.
- API & Microservices: Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with business applications and third-party systems.
- Data Management & Integration: Experience with data integration tools and frameworks, ETL processes, and managing large volumes of transactional data in the context of SCM systems.
- Database Skills: Proficient with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB), and experience with designing efficient database schemas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or similar certifications preferred.
- ERP Systems Knowledge: Experience with major ERP systems, particularly those used in the food and beverage industry (SAP, Oracle).
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) for continuous integration, deployment, and containerization.
