Job Details
Position: Technical Product Owner
Location: Moline, IL (Onsite)
As a Technical Product Owner, you will act as the critical link between businessstakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into scalable,secure, and innovative technical solutions. You will own the product roadmap,manage the backlog, and ensure the successful delivery of AI-powered andcloud-native applications. Your experience with AI technologies, includingMicrosoft Copilot and Azure AI Foundry, will be instrumental in drivingintelligent automation and digital transformation initiatives.
KeyResponsibilities
- Collaboratewith business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to gather,analyze, and prioritize product requirements.
- Leaddiscovery workshops and technical feasibility assessments, especially forAI-driven and cloud-based solutions.
- Translatebusiness needs into detailed technical specifications, including user stories,acceptance criteria, and system-level requirements.
- Ownand manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and AItransformation roadmaps.
- Drivethe integration and adoption of Microsoft Copilotand Azure AIFoundry capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows.
- Guidethe development and deployment of AI-powered features, including naturallanguage processing, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics.
- Workclosely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and adherence toarchitectural standards.
- Collaboratewith QA teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and support UAT anddefect triage.
- Identifyand mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges acrosssystems.
- Serveas the primary point of contact for technical queries related to AI featuresand cloud-native product capabilities.
- Championthe use of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, CognitiveServices, and ML Ops pipelines.
- Drivecontinuous improvement in product development processes, especially in AI modellifecycle management and responsible AI practices.
- Actas a product and technology evangelist, promoting AI adoption and innovationacross the organization.
Experience
- Minimum6 years of experience as a Product Owner with a strong technical background.
- 10+years of experience in IT Consulting or 6+ years in Business Consulting with afocus on Technology Advisory.
- Provenexperience in AI solution provisioning, including model selection,training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Hands-onexposure to Microsoft Copilotand Azure AI Foundry, with a clearunderstanding of their capabilities and integration patterns.
- Strongunderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system integration,APIs, and cloud technologies (especially Microsoft Azure).
- Experiencein Discrete Manufacturing (preferably Automotive), with exposure to CRM, SalesTransformation, and Dealer Management systems.
- Proficiencyin Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Familiaritywith CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
- Exposureto Design Thinking, User-Centered Design (UCD), or similar methodologies isadvantageous.
- Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills across technical andnon-technical audiences.
