Candidate must be located in Paducah, KY area.
The Construction Auditor is responsible for conducting inspections on both new and existing plant locations of our client. The Construction Auditor must be highly detailed, communicative, collaborative, task driven and comfortable working with technology. This role requires self-motivation and strong project coordination experience in order to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross-functional teams.
Conducts inspections on both new and existing plant facilities;
Monitors for safety issues in the field and reports findings to construction manager / supervisor
Sends findings to relevant teams to ensure proper follow-up
Manages data within proprietary software
Checks and responds to emails in a timely manner
Able to work necessary hours as required to meet project deadlines
Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
Knowledge of telecommunications network design and construction practices
Knowledge of various operating systems, Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook
Strong organization and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
Proficient in the use of appropriate project management reporting and tracking software
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently;
Flexible during times of change;
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, contractors, and other departments
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
