Description

DevSecOps Engineer Sr. to work in Reston VA: Development, security, and operations of software. Ensure continuous availability of various DevOps tools supporting SCM and Release Management including Source Control, Containerization, Continuous Integration, and Change Management. Design, develop and implement enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitating autonomous delivery teams. Assist with DevOps infrastructure projects pertaining to Containerization, systems management, design and architecture. Analyze and optimize, monitor and problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation. Develop and design ways of integrating newly developed and existing applications into private, public and hybrid cloud environments. Develop and design ways of automating deployment pipelines in a scalable, secure and reliable manner. Analyze existing environments and leveraging application monitoring tools to troubleshoot and diagnose environment issues. Use Jenkins, Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Terraform, and AWS CLI.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twelve (12) months in job or job related experience to include ensure continuous availability of various DevOps tools supporting SCM and Release Management including Source Control, Containerization, Continuous Integration, and Change Management; design, develop and implement enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitating autonomous delivery teams; assist with DevOps infrastructure projects pertaining to Containerization, systems management, design and architecture; analyze and optimize, monitor and problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation; develop and design ways of automating deployment pipelines in a scalable, secure and reliable manner; use Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Terraform, and AWS CLI.
