Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2 to 3 years of professional experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payroll coordination.
Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial controls and operational efficiency.
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2 3 years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
Solid understanding of GAAP and US tax regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
CPA certification (preferred but not required).
