Healthcare Business Analyst

Mandatory Skills:

10+ years of applicable senior BA experience in healthcare

2-3+ years of experience with ServiceNow ideally with knowledge of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and a broad general knowledge of SN modules (HR, PPM, etc.)

Experience working within a managed service model supporting various BA needs
-
Expertise in business requirement elicitation and user story documentation
-
Ability to handle concurrent projects and tasks efficiently
-
Proven experience working on large-scale projects and managing day-to-day business operational requests
-
Some experience with project management
-
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Good to Have Skills:

Experience working on CI/CD Pipelines using GitLab
-
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (SDLC, Agile)
Responsibilities:
-
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance in the application of information and best practices

Work closely with business units to understand customer strategy, services, roadmap, and business processes to document capabilities needed to address challenges

Conduct a full range of BA activities on a specific project (6-month initial engagement with possible extension)

Review end-to-end business processes to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks
-
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by applying innovative thinking
-
Lead small to mid-size projects or serve as a Business Analyst on larger, complex initiatives affecting team members and providers at the market level
-
Accommodate limited travel to client sites if requested
-
Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
-
Manage customer expectations and maintain clear communication regarding project outcomes
-
Stay current with evolving customer needs, leveraging various written and presentation formats (emails, newsletters, PowerPoint, etc.) to communicate updates and findings
-
Facilitate meetings and presentations to diverse audiences including senior management, technical staff, and customers
-
Identify and lead complex process design changes, focusing on quality improvement, reliable data, and process re-engineering
-
Integrate new systems and processes with existing infrastructures and ensure alignment with long-term business strategy
-
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by partnering with stakeholders, recognizing improvement opportunities, and adapting to organizational changes
-
Deliver comprehensive project-level analysis documentation including business requirements, user stories, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans

Clearly document business, functional, non-functional, and system requirements
-
Collaborate with developers and testers to implement and verify requirements
-
Identify proactive and reactive improvement opportunities and assess system inefficiencies
-
Increase user adoption and enhance customer satisfaction
-
Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to support system enhancements, modifications, and implementations
-
Support implementation testing for all payer and vendor relationships to ensure quality data transfer and reporting down to the market level
-
Develop and execute UAT test plans and facilitate the UAT process
-
Support system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements
Educational Qualifications:
-
Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc
-
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable
