Job Details

As a Technology Support Trainer, you will be responsible for contributing your expertise to providing a variety of software training and application support services to our client. You will identify training needs of all client employees via training requests, new technology, analysis, and help desk reports. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance and training to end-users for applications in a variety of different methods (e.g. classroom, one to one, remote training, and product demo) and software
  • Working with team members in Technology or other departments to identify training needs, and creating methods for proper instruction
  • Preparing training documentation, handouts, outlines, instructions, and other materials as needed
  • Participating in firmwide training conference calls and/or smaller working groups to prepare for upgrades, writing materials, and learning processes
  • Creating classes designed to promote learning, administered via classes, demonstrations, or one-on-one training

Requirements

  • Possess knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Display excellent communication skills in all media
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver presentations to an audience for instructional purposes

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Previous software training experience
