Role: ETL Tester With Databricks
Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: Fulltime
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements, data models, and ETL specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform validation of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across various source and target systems.
- Develop and execute test scripts for Databricks-based data pipelines.
- Perform data profiling, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks.
- Validate large datasets in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform).
- Automate ETL test cases using tools/scripts (PySpark, Python, or other automation frameworks).
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Generate detailed test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
