About the Role
As a QA Developer on the Mobile Engineering team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our clients mobile applications for retail and retirement clients. This position focuses on building robust mobile automation frameworks using Espresso and/or XCUITest for Android and iOS platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement mobile automation frameworks from the ground up using Espresso and/or XCUITest.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for native mobile applications.
- Ensure continuous test execution, failure analysis, and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with QA leadership to promote test-driven development and automation best practices.
- Plan and debug native performance test scripts.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors (onshore and offshore) to define test environments and automation tools.
- Drive end-to-end testing strategies across multiple applications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align QA tooling and technology decisions.
- Integrate testing schedules and metrics with product and Scrum teams.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- 1+ years building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- 1+ years developing and executing automated test scripts.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with iOS and/or Android development.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Swift, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Espresso and/or XCUITest.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Zephyr, MTM, or HP Quality Center.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to manage multiple QA projects across distributed teams.
- Experience in the financial or trading services industry is a plus.
