Job Details
Job Title: Senior Azure SQL Database Administrator (DBA)
Location: Boston, MA (Need Locals or Nearby)
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Industry: Financial Services / Healthcare / Technology (customizable)
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with at least 3-5 years in Azure SQL Database administration.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, Azure SQL Database, and Managed Instances.
- Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
- Strong expertise in HA/DR configurations, replication, clustering, and Always On Availability Groups.
- Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or Terraform is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, T-SQL, and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of RBAC, network security, data masking, and encryption techniques in Azure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
