Job Description

At Ford Motor Company, we believe freedom of movement drives human progress. We also believe in providing you with the freedom to define and realize your dreams! With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career potential as you help us define tomorrow's transportation.

Ford Model E is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities - such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling - to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. By supporting the best software, engineering, design and UX talent, you will be a part of creating new technologies and concepts that can be applied across the Ford enterprise. Supporting the Ford Model E team means building the future as Ford's center of innovation and growth through electric and connected vehicles and services.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a tech explosion in the automotive industry and make a huge impact on our growing team. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and highly-motivated Talent Specialist to help deliver an amazing candidate experience. This person will partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers to ensure a seamless hiring process. If you're hungry to learn and eager to take on this exciting role, we want to hear from you! This opportunity has a lot of room for growth and has the potential to lead into other positions within the Recruiting Team.

This is a one-year contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion.

What you'll be able to do:
  • Work onsite in our Palo Alto office 3+ days a week to meet with hiring managers, candidates, and team members in person
  • Partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates to coordinate and schedule interviews
  • Work with complex and shifting calendars across multiple time zones and facilitate any schedule changes
  • Collaborate with other recruiting coordinators on best practices to streamline scheduling processes
  • Help expand our University Program and assist with high-volume scheduling during each recruitment term
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers to understand needs, ensuring alignment between job descriptions, and target candidate profiles
  • Help to identify and improve current processes to optimize workflows and make operations seamless
  • Be an advocate for DEI both internally and externally
  • Support the recruiting team with ad-hoc projects as needed

The minimum requirements we seek:
  • 1+ years of experience in a Recruiting Coordinator or similar role
  • 4+ years of overall work experience
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems

Preferred Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and driven: you look for solutions and impact without being asked twice
  • You are curious. You look to dig deeper beyond the surface level of a job profile; researching market trends and domain technology and seeking out information to have a solid understanding of the business. You ask for feedback, and want to grow and develop in your career.
  • Problem solver: you think through problems and come up with innovative solutions and deliver them against tight deadlines
