Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data scientist with a strong background in AWS, Databricks, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience automating data infrastructure, managing cloud resources, and deploying models in modern data environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Manage and optimize cloud resources (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda)
- Deploy and administer Databricks clusters, notebooks, and model endpoints
- Implement cloud security policies, IAM roles, and compliance configurations
- Set up observability dashboards and optimize AWS costs
- Collaborate with data engineers/scientists to enable scalable, secure data platforms
- Enforce DevSecOps best practices and support production readiness
Must-Have Skills:
- AWS Services: EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, Systems Manager
- CI/CD Automation: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CodePipeline
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform or CloudFormation
- Databricks: Workspace & cluster management, AWS integration
- Scripting: Python or Bash for automation tasks
