Title: Mobile Project Manager
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Project Manager to lead and coordinate a 6-month mobile upgrade initiative for a prominent client based in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Cantonese, proficient in Mandarin, and experienced in managing mobile technology projects. This is a remote position, with restrictions on being based in China or Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of a mobile upgrade project, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Act as the primary liaison between the clients Hong Kong-based team and remote delivery teams.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, UX/UI, infrastructure, and operations.
Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and issues through structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
Conduct regular status meetings and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
Ensure localization requirements, regulatory compliance, and user experience needs are met for the Hong Kong market.
Facilitate communication and collaboration in Cantonese and Mandarin, as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of project management experience, ideally in mobile application development or mobile infrastructure projects.
Fluency in Cantonese (spoken and written) is required.
Proficient in Mandarin (spoken).
Strong experience managing remote, distributed teams and vendor resources.
Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS/Android), app deployment processes, and upgrade lifecycle.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in Asia-Pacific telecom or mobile industries is a plus.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a bonus.
