Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols, and network automation, who thrives in a dynamic and highly available infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems that support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot IP protocols (IPv4/IPv6) and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Manage and support routing and switching platforms including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, and Juniper SRX/QFX/MX.
• Perform advanced network analysis and troubleshooting using tools like Netflow, SNMP, and syslog.
• Support and optimize network services including LAN/WAN Ethernet, MSTP, VRRP, GSLB, anycast, multicast, MPLS, VPN, IPSEC, and TACACS.
• Maintain core network technologies including TCP/IP, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to support AWS networking using Terraform or CDK.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and work flexible hours as needed.
• Lead process improvements and identify opportunities for operational enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of industry experience in network engineering.
• Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals and TCP/IP stack across layers 1-4.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• At least 2 years of experience with major internet routing protocols.
• At least 1 year of experience in network automation scripting.
• Experience designing and supporting highly available networks.
• Familiarity with packet forwarding architectures and modern network design.
• Proven experience with IPv6/IPv4 implementations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or JNCIE.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and cloud-native networking.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
