Job Description:
  • The Full-Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications for the oil and gas trading domain.
  • This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, supporting robust databases, and delivering high-quality software solutions using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web applications using modern front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies.
  • Build and support robust databases and data pipelines.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation practices.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Apply innovative and analytical thinking to problem-solving and development tasks.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with database management systems such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization, security, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage workload under time pressure while delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Full-stack development experience with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly trading operations.
  • Understanding of market data, trading systems, and financial instruments in oil and gas.
  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Solid experience with SQL, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in programming languages, frameworks, or methodologies.
