Job Title: Sr. Accountant
Location: Draper, UT - Remote

About the Role:

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to support our accounting team during a team member's leave. This role focuses on reconciliation, audits, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience in fintech or payments and can quickly adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring and reconciliation of payment transactions between internal systems and bank partners.
  • Research and resolve transaction exceptions with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support SOX audits and compliance reporting.
  • Perform closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes for greater efficiency.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in accounting, reconciliation, or financial operations.
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and reconciliation best practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query).
  • Experience with high-volume transaction matching in financial services or payments.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Blackline, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Alteryx experience is a plus.
