Test Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Test Automation Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Identify business risks & contribute to user story definition
* The Test Automation Engineer will be defining and reviewing Test Cases & Plans
* Creativity and thinking out-of-the-box as this project heart of store technology
* Design and Developing automation frameworks from scratch
* The Test Automation Engineer will be developing automation scripts for newly added functional test cases
* Build stuff together, then break it and love doing it

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience in QA automation
* 1+ years of experience in Mongo DB, Node JS and AWS (Lambda, Step functions and cloud watch)
* Practical experience with web testing and automation testing development skills
* Experience with TDD, BDD/Gherkin
* Knowledge or experience with pipelines, Jenkins, and CI / CD processes
* Knowledge in Retail System [POS] validations
* Experience and in-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages JavaScript (ex: JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.)
* Experience with one or more test tools & frameworks (ex: Selenium Web driver, cypress, Karate, JMeter, Postman, etc.)
* Team player mentality, actively cooperating with both engineering and non-engineering colleagues

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
