RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join their team.
Summary/Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing both physical and virtual asset infrastructure assessments at our Data Centers. This project aims to establish a comprehensive baseline to facilitate the migration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Discovery and Documentation: Validate findings by reviewing rack diagrams and virtual server information
* Reporting: Compile and present a Current State Discovery Report for Data Centers
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in data center operations and asset management
* Strong understanding of physical and virtual server environments
* Proficiency in inventory management and documentation
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and reporting abilities
* Ability to interpret and validate rack diagrams and server information
Preferred Skills:
* Certification in data center management or related fields
* Experience with data center migrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
