Job Description

Must have Restaurant POS experience

seeking a Retail Tech Engineer (POS Engineer) to support POS system development, integration, and deployment for their restaurant technology initiatives. This role will focus on enhancing POS software functionality, payment gateway integration, and kitchen system technology.

Day to Day

  • Develop, configure, and maintain POS software to integrate menus, modify layouts, and publish changesets.
    Deploy and configure POS hardware and software, ensuring seamless operations.
    Design and optimize the POS user interface for restaurant staff usability.
    Monitor and support POS devices using Datadog and other tools.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance restaurant tech operations.

MUST:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with POS software engineering.
    Experience with restaurant POS systems such as PAR Brink, NCR Aloha, QBeyond, Harbrink, or Tray.
    Strong understanding of POS integration, UI modifications, and device deployment.
    Restaurant industry experience is required.

PLUS:

  • Experience with POS payment gateways and kitchen system technology.
    Familiarity with B2C or high-volume retail environments.
    Knowledge of Datadog monitoring tools.
