Description:
This role is a supply chain and transportation role with a specific focus on freight investigations, claims, and data analytics.
Experience processing transportation claims, especially parcel claims with UPS and FedEx, would be a plus.
Experience is needed for parcel transportation (UPS and FedEx) with a focus on claims and freight investigations related to loss and theft. This role will support our other internal teams that are engaged with minimizing theft of material and recouping maximum value from our transportation carriers.
Experience with Excel, SQL, TMS (agnostic), Oracle and SAP is preferred.
Other duties will include onsite transportation-related tasks such as carrier management, scheduling, and project management as needed.
Typical day:
Claims resolution, freight investigations (determining claim reasons and identifying responsible party for theft), claims and undelivered shipment analyses, GPS device management, and other onsite transportation-related activities related to carrier management and escalations.
