Systems Administrator

A Business Solutions MSP company is hiring a Systems Administrator to join the team for a great long term opportunity! Can sit in any of the following cities: Tigard, OR - Kent, WA - Medford, OR.
Summary:
The Systems Administrator is primarily responsible to provide escalated/tier II support, change control and provide Pre-Sales Engineering (PSE) solutions for client end users, which may include onsite diagnosis and repair, performing planned system maintenance on client networks and troubleshooting elevated support requests and systems analysis, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Hardware may include workstations, printers, servers, firewall, switches, and phones.
Job Description:

• Thorough understanding of Hyper-V, VMWare, Nutanix and other virtualization platforms
• Thorough understanding of Industry best practices for Windows Server environments and associated roles and dependencies
• Thorough understanding and experience administering and maintaining M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune; ensure compliance, security, and optimal performance across the tenant.
• Thorough understanding and experience in managing Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components; implement role-based access control (RBAC), monitor usage, and support cost optimization strategies.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of basic network diagnostics including routing, switching, and access point (AP) management; identify and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all escalated tickets, including those associated with design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of line of business applications, system operating systems or hardware configurations (workstations, printers, servers, firewall, switches and phones)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with o365, Windows Servers and supporting technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT bench, support, field or consulting role
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with LAN and WAN configuration, setup, and troubleshooting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing excellent exceptional service directly to end users
• Possesses valid driver's license and proof of insurance, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.50/hr.
