Role Name: Card Test Lead and Test Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH

11+ and W2 Only


JOB DESCRIPTION:
"Skill, Roles, and Responsibilities: Domain Expertise:
Extensive experience in the Cards & Payments domain, with a strong focus on credit card platforms.
In-depth understanding of end-to-end card functionalities including:
o Card origination
o Product changes
o Fraud transfers
o Payment allocation
o Fees and financial charges
Hands-on experience with TSYS-TS2 or similar card processing platforms.
Proven success in credit card migration testing, including data validation and reconciliation.
Familiarity with payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) and transaction processing flows. Testing Leadership:
Ability to lead and manage comprehensive testing efforts for credit card migration projects.
Define and execute test strategies across functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
Collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure complete test coverage.
Validate critical card lifecycle processes such as issuance, authorization, transaction posting, and settlement.
Oversee defect management, including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS and other relevant compliance standards.
Document test artifacts including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect logs to ensure traceability and audit readiness. Tools & Communication:
Proficient in test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent platforms.
Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Capable of mentoring and guiding junior testers and offshore teams to maintain quality and consistency.
