Position Overview
The Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing the company s network infrastructure. This includes LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, security systems, cloud networking, and monitoring. This position is on-site and requires hands-on technical expertise in enterprise networking and system security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP,CompTIA Network Plus, CompTIA Security Plus, Fortinet NSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or AWS networking certifications.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial IT environments.
- Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems, wireless controllers, and SD-WAN solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- 7 years of experience in network administration or network engineering.
- Exp with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, and network segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper network devices.
- Experience configuring firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, IDS, and IPS systems.
- Working knowledge of SIEM tools and security log analysis.
- Experience with Azure or AWS networking including VPCs, VPN gateways, and hybrid network integration.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
- Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark.
- Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX
