Job Role: Sr. AI Engineer
Location: New York, NY / Chicago, IL (Onsite 2 3 days per week, Hybrid flexibility available)
Visa Status: Independent

General Skills & Requirements

  • 10 12 years of progressive experience in data engineering with increasing responsibility across diverse projects and technologies.

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Advanced-level or industry-recognized certifications preferred.

  • Proven ability to function as a team lead, guiding technical direction and mentoring team members.

  • Hands-on experience in planning, deploying, and maintaining tools, platforms, and data infrastructure.

  • Strong expertise in technology migrations and upgrades.

  • Experience working with vendors and handling technical support escalations.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Python including AI-specific packages and frameworks e.g. langchain/langgraph, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy

  • Strong methodological understanding of GenAI, AI agents and ML e.g. LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, deep learning, tree methods, statistical model validation

  • Strong SW pipeline development and DevOps practices: GitFlow, CI/CD, containerization .

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Domain expertise in the media industry (preferred).
