Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled VMware Aria Engineer to join our team in a remote contract role. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware Aria Suite and SaltStack, with a strong background in automation, virtualization, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and manage VMware Aria Suite, including:

    • Aria Operations

    • Aria Operations for Networks

    • Aria Operations for Logs

    • Aria Automation

  • Develop custom modular workflows and blueprints in Aria Automation.

  • Design custom dashboards, reports, views, compliance policies, and configurations in Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Logs.

  • Analyze network traffic and implement micro-segmentation rules.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize VMware environments for performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Expert-level experience with VMware Aria Suite (Operations, Automation, Logs, Networks) and SaltStack.

  • Strong proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, AWX, or other automation tools (preferred).

  • Hands-on experience with VMware technologies and Aria software.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Must Qualifications
  • Experience with back-end web development, software development, and OOP concepts.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify Yaskawa robot programs based on project specs.

Diagnose and troubleshoot robotic issues.

Collaborate with engineering and production for system integration.

Perform system testing and validation.

Provide technical support and training to team members.

Maintain documentation for robotic systems and programming changes.
