Cyber Defense Analyst (CDA) in Tactical Risk Management

100% Remote
Pay Rate: Open Rate (Hourly Rate Non-Benefitted W2 Contract, C2C(Must be your company) or Fully Benefitted Contract)
Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience with Archer and Sharepoint
- The role is 80% centered around issues management (tactical risk management).
- Risk Identification and Documentation: Identify, document, and categorize digital and cyber risks in RTX's authoritative source of record (Archer), ensuring accurate and detailed entries.
- Collaboration with Risk Owners: Engage with risk owners to understand the nature and impact of identified risks, providing guidance on risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct detailed risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of cyber risks, ensuring alignment with organizational risk management frameworks.
- Remediation Planning: Collaborate with risk owners to develop and finalize risk remediation plans that address identified gaps and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Status Tracking and Updates: Regularly follow up with risk owners to monitor the progress of remediation activities and update the status in the authoritative source of record.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports on risk status, trends, and remediation progress to stakeholders, including leadership and cybersecurity teams
- Support for Audits and Reviews: Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence, and updates related to the management of digital risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes and tools, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in addressing digital risks.
- Remediation Support: Provide guidance and advice to risk owners about effective risk mitigating controls.
- Support operational and enterprise risk management functions to prepare key deliverables
- Support digital risk transformation efforts (Sharepoint to Archer migration)
