Job Details

Job Title: CX/UX Journey Mapping Consultant
Location: Remote (Preference for candidates local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area)
Top Skills Required
Experience creating journey maps and personas based on stakeholder discussions and discovery sessions
UX-focused, customer-centric thinker with the ability to guide IT design decisions
Strong experience in SAFe, Agile Release Trains, and Agile methodologies
Ability to provide blank templates or examples of journey maps and personas used in previous roles
Nice to Have
Business analysis experience
Agile methodology familiarity
Business requirements gathering and documentation
Job Responsibilities
Journey Mapping & Persona Development
Create and maintain journey maps for current and future states of enterprise products
Develop and update personas to reflect evolving user needs and product direction
Ensure all artifacts are aligned with product roadmaps and planning cycles (PI3, PI4, and 2026)
UX Guidance & Gap Analysis
Provide UX insights to support IT design and development efforts
Ask targeted questions to identify and close gaps in journey maps and personas
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate assumptions and refine deliverables
Agile Collaboration
Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI planning, sprint reviews, and backlog grooming
Work within a structured Agile Release Train (ART) to support iterative delivery and user-centered outcomes
Additional Skills & Tools
Proficiency with tools such as Miro, Figma, Lucidchart, Adobe XD, or similar
Strong facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder interviews
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Work Environment
Fully remote role (hybrid or on-site may be required based on project needs)

Business Context
This role supports a product focused on improving operations and customer experience for enterprise users

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $75.00/hr.
