About the Role
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Access Control Installation Technician to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for installing and configuring access control systems in a variety of commercial environments, including hospitals, warehouses, schools, and office buildings.
You'll work with industry-leading platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, and Software House, ensuring secure and reliable access solutions for our clients.

About the Role
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Access Control Installation Technician to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for installing and configuring access control systems in a variety of commercial environments, including hospitals, warehouses, schools, and office buildings.
You'll work with industry-leading platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, and Software House, ensuring secure and reliable access solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems (Genetec, Lenel, Software House)
- Run and terminate cabling (low-voltage, network, and power)
- Mount and wire door hardware, readers, panels, and controllers
- Perform system testing and commissioning
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate installations
- Maintain documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in access control or low-voltage system installation
- Familiarity with Genetec, Lenel, and Software House platforms
- Strong understanding of commercial environments and security protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
