Role: Data Migration Custom Load (ABAP) Developer
Location: Texas first (Remote)

Job Description:
The Data Migration Custom Load (ABAP) Developer 1 is responsible for developing, testing, and executing ABAP-based programs that load data into SAP as part of migration activities. This role works closely with functional SMEs and data migration leads to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant data loads for mock cycles, cutover, and go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom load programs using BDC, BAPI, IDoc, RFC, or file-based techniques.
- Build error-handling routines, logs, and reconciliation reports.
- Execute test loads and support SIT/UAT data validation.
- Troubleshoot load errors, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
- Provide cutover support, production load execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Document technical specs, load designs, and test results.
Qualifications
- Experience in ABAP development for data migration (BDC, BAPI, IDoc, etc.).
- Understanding of SAP data structures across major modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM).
- Ability to analyze data, debug programs, and optimize performance.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
