About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to strengthen our ADAS program team, with a focus on Active Safety and Driver Assistant space. As the ADAS Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading high-visibility programs, overseeing multiple milestones, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across software, hardware and user experience teams, to develop execution plans that enable quality launches of our features and products.

THE TEAM

The ADAS PMO is one of the four pillars working in concert to drive the launch of ADAS features and products across the L1 - L4 levels of autonomy. This Includes our best-in-class Active Safety features, Driver Assist Features, and L3/L4 autonomy. The ADAS PMO partners with the ADAS Product Management Team and the Software Development Teams to drive the strategic goals of the ADAS organization.

Candidates should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, engaging with leadership, and collaborating with teams across GM. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead programs from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including proactive risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget to ensure that program objectives can be met.
  • Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of program plans.
  • Address engineering and product teams remove barriers and drive clarity on program execution priorities.
  • Influence relevant stakeholders and establish/maintain relationships, providing day-to-day contact on program status and changes.
  • Communicate program outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to program work plan.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 5+ years of project/program management or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience leading programs with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong program management experience, with practical familiarity in Agile, Scaled Agile Framework and Waterfall methodologies, applied where most effective.
  • Proven track record of influencing without direct authority, fostering collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership in motivating cross-functional team members across different time zones and backgrounds to achieve goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead teams through change, fostering a culture of adaptability by adjusting project/program plans accordingly and ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders.
  • Domain knowledge of ADAS systems and key sensing technologies, capable of guiding the integration of these technologies into vehicle systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

What will give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience in ADAS software development (L1-L4 autonomy), machine learning, computer vision and related software development environments.
  • Understanding of autonomous driving, system engineering, safety frameworks/methodologies, software simulation and testing tools.
  • Experience administrating and configuring tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • MBA.
  • PMP Certification.

  • Ability to work comfortably and effectively with senior leaders.

Hybrid , reporting to a specific location where work needs to be performed / collaboration should happen (regardless this location is within a hub) and without regard to where a candidate lives (some employees may end up hybrid who live more than 50 miles away but where business needs dictate them to be onsite at a specific location three days per week).

  • This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Sunnyvale Technical Center or Warren Technical Center (WTC) or Milford Proving Grounds (MPG) or Austin Technical Center three times per week, at minimum

Compensation : The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The salary range for this role is 110,200 to 176,100. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
