PeopleSoft Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

PeopleSoft Administration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM environments.
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations of PeopleSoft components, including PUM images.
  • Manage application servers, web servers, and process schedulers.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Maintain and optimize security, roles, and permissions in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Perform performance tuning of PeopleSoft applications and databases.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation and runbooks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator.
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleTools, PUM upgrades, and environment migrations.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture (application server, web server, process scheduler).
  • Expertise in SOAP and REST web services, JSON, and XML.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Unix Shell).
  • Solid understanding of security protocols, certificates, and encryption standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with PeopleSoft on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OCI).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices for PeopleSoft, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) automation.
