Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Embedded Systems)- 2 positions

Rate: W2 

Location: 5 days onsite- Dallas TX

Experience: 12+ years

Role Summary

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong hands-on software engineering background, who started their career as a Software Engineer and later transitioned into project/program management. The ideal candidate must have solid embedded systems experience and the ability to manage technically complex projects in embedded software development environments.

Key Requirements

  • Mandatory: Prior hands-on experience in Embedded Software Development
  • Must have started career as a Software Engineer
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, real-time software, and low-level development
  • Experience managing projects involving C++, Java, and embedded technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders
  • Experience handling end-to-end project delivery (planning, execution, risk, and delivery)

Technical Skills

  • Embedded Software Development (mandatory)
  • Programming languages: C / C++, Java (any additional languages are a plus)
  • Familiarity with embedded platforms, RTOS, device drivers, or firmware is preferred
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum or other project management methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage embedded software development projects from initiation to delivery
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality
  • Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
  • Track project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to quality, performance, and compliance standards
