Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP IBP solutions to help organizations manage their end-to-end supply chain and business planning processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other functional experts to enable improved demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, and sales and operations planning (S&OP). The ideal candidate will be a key player in ensuring alignment between business strategy and day-to-day operational execution through the powerful capabilities of SAP IBP.

Responsibilities:

SAP IBP Implementation & Configuration:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and sales & operations planning (S&OP).
• Configure SAP IBP to meet business-specific requirements, ensuring alignment with the company's supply chain strategy.
• Design, implement, and optimize business processes across demand, supply, and inventory planning using SAP IBP modules.

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

• Implement demand planning solutions in SAP IBP to help businesses forecast future demand accurately based on historical data, market trends, and business inputs.
• Configure SAP IBP Demand Planning to manage the forecasting process, including statistical forecasting, promotion planning, and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand forecasts with business needs.

Supply Planning & Optimization:

• Configure and implement supply planning solutions in SAP IBP to optimize production schedules, manage inventory levels, and ensure the availability of goods to meet demand.
• Work on solutions that allow for improved collaboration with suppliers and optimization of production and transportation costs.
• Leverage SAP IBP Supply Planning to develop realistic, cost-effective supply plans that balance supply chain constraints with demand fluctuations.

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):

• Implement and optimize SAP IBP S&OP functionality to support collaborative decision-making across functions such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Design and configure workflows for regular S&OP cycles, including planning meetings, data gathering, scenario planning, and consensus-building.
• Work with senior management to ensure alignment between supply and demand through effective S&OP processes.

Inventory Optimization & Management:

• Design and implement SAP IBP Inventory Optimization to manage safety stock levels, inventory turns, and stockouts while balancing cost and service levels.
• Work with inventory management teams to optimize the flow of goods across the supply chain and improve working capital efficiency.
• Use real-time analytics to recommend improvements in inventory strategy and processes.

Integration with Other SAP Modules:

• Integrate SAP IBP with other SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO, SAP EWM, and third-party systems to ensure seamless data exchange and accurate planning execution.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure that integrations between SAP IBP and external applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, MES) are properly designed and function smoothly.
• Support end-to-end visibility across the supply chain through integrated data and reporting systems.

Advanced Analytics & Reporting:

• Develop and implement advanced analytics and reporting within SAP IBP to provide visibility into planning processes, supply chain performance, and KPIs.
• Use SAP IBP's analytics tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, IBP Demand Sensing, IBP Supply Chain Control Tower) to provide insights into business performance and help optimize planning decisions.
• Generate detailed reports for management, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Training & Support:

• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and key stakeholders, ensuring they are well-versed in SAP IBP processes and best practices.
• Assist users in solving issues related to planning and forecasting, guiding them to fully leverage SAP IBP for better planning outcomes.
• Offer ongoing support for SAP IBP modules, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with the latest SAP IBP functionalities and best practices, including new features and updates from SAP.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements in the planning process and system functionality based on changing business needs, industry trends, or new SAP IBP releases.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy, ensuring that SAP IBP provides maximum value to the business.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including implementation, configuration, and optimization.
• Strong experience in SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and experience in integrating SAP IBP with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO, SAP EWM).
• Proven track record of delivering successful SAP IBP projects and enabling business value through effective planning.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in SAP IBP configuration, including setting up demand planning models, supply planning processes, and inventory optimization tools.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or other reporting and analytics tools to build and deliver actionable insights.
• Familiarity with SAP integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)).
• Basic knowledge of ABAP or the ability to work with technical teams for advanced customization or integration is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or related SAP certifications.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP IBP.
• Experience with SAP IBP Demand Sensing, IBP Control Tower, or IBP for Inventory Optimization.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for supply chain planning and forecasting.
