Job Description/ Responsibilities Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Technical Writer to support the Application Portfolio Management (APM) team. This role will be instrumental in documenting processes, standards, and data governance practices related to the APM system of record. The Technical Writer will work closely with APM Data Stewards, technology owners, and governance teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility of all APM-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation & Content Development

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for APM processes, standards, and workflows.

Develop user guides, SOPs, training materials, and FAQs for stakeholders interacting with the APM system.

Translate complex technical and governance requirements into clear, user-friendly content.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with APM Data Stewards to understand data validation, taxonomy alignment, and governance workflows.

Liaise with application owners, technology teams, and governance stakeholders to gather input and feedback on documentation.

Support periodic reviews and updates of documentation to reflect changes in enterprise standards or regulatory requirements.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all documentation aligns with enterprise data standards, CMDB structures, and CSDM frameworks.

Maintain version control and audit trails for all published materials.

Assist in preparing materials for risk, compliance, and audit reviews.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience in technical writing, preferably within IT or enterprise data governance environments.

Familiarity with Application Portfolio Management, CMDB, and CSDM concepts is a strong asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, MS Word, Visio).

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in ServiceNow environments.

Understanding of ITIL and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
