We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong foundation in business intelligence and a passion for transforming complex security data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity analytics, particularly in developing Power BI dashboards for management and executive audiences.

You will also play a key role in automating processes and supporting data governance initiatives to ensure the integrity, quality, and traceability of cybersecurity data.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting
    • Design, develop, and maintain attractive professional Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the cybersecurity domain.
    • Translate cybersecurity metrics and KPIs into clear, visual narratives that support strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with cybersecurity, IT, and data teams to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
    • Present findings and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management and reporting processes.
  • Automation & Workflow Optimization
    • Develop and maintain automated processes using Python or Power Platform tools to streamline data collection, transformation, and reporting.
    • Create scripts and workflows to automate repetitive tasks such as data ingestion, validation, and alerting.
    • Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, ticketing systems) into centralized reporting platforms.
    • Monitor and optimize automation processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Data Governance
    • Maintain and update the data element inventory for cybersecurity-related datasets.
    • Document and maintain data lineage to trace data flow across systems and processes.
    • Support compliance with internal data governance policies.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity analytics or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
  • Familiarity with Python scripting for data analysis or automation.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate and Power Apps).
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL, REST APIs, or other data integration tools.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g. cybersecurity operations, data protection, identity and access management, GRC).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001)
  • Exposure toDatabricks Lakehouse architecture, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
  • Knowledge ofdata governance,data quality frameworks, andsecurity best practices.
  • Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments with tools like Azure Boards.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate/Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)
