Job Title: Data Architect - Business and Go-To-Market Data Architecture
Job Location: Westminster, CO
Our Department: Trimble Field Systems - Business Transformation Team
Are you passionate about transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business success?
We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, experienced, and strategic-thinking Data Architect to lead the overhaul of our underlying data architecture in our Field Systems Business Systems. You will be responsible for working across Field Systems and corporate stakeholders to understand challenges with the current architecture, evolving business needs, and defining how we can better manage our offerings with underlying part number data to meet our evolving needs.
This role requires gaining a deep understanding of the current data architecture framework and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand current challenges, define and document the strategy, and plan the creation, implementation, and migration of the new architecture.
We are looking for ways to better manage product data (part numbers, categories, etc.) to enable greater flexibility in how we define offerings, optimize managing dealer portfolio access, dealer incentives, sales reporting, forecasting, inventory, and more. This role will enable the businesses to reduce the part numbers we are offering and manage, and consolidate parts between different business units within Field Systems.
Once the architecture is final and approved, you will be responsible for planning and leading the implementation and transition with cross-functional stakeholders from the business, finance, channel management, and operations. This will require strong change management and communication skills, as changing the data architecture and structure will have a significant impact on business processes and business systems.
