Job : Salesforce Developer
Location:
Seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy customized Child Welfare solutions within the Salesforce platform. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, understanding business requirements, and delivering scalable technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Customize and configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and other platform features to meet business requirements.
Integrate Salesforce with other systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, project managers, and end-users to gather and refine requirements.
Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to ensure clear documentation of business and technical requirements.
Perform impact analysis of new requirements on existing software applications and systems.
Create system designs using best practices and sustainable design patterns.
Track and manage development activities using Jira Scrum boards and Kanban boards.
Prepare project plans, resource requirement projections, and documentation for management.
Maintain technical documentation including code comments, process flow diagrams, and configuration details.
Enforce coding standards, peer review procedures, and approved development methodologies.
Ensure security compliance in alignment with relevant policies and standards.
Review security scan results and remediate vulnerabilities within required timeframes.
Proactively monitor production applications for performance improvements and process optimization.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in the Salesforce ecosystem (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components).
Expertise in Salesforce customization and configuration.
Experience with system integrations and data flows between multiple platforms.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
Familiarity with security standards and compliance policies related to Salesforce and government systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and technical teams.
Ability to optimize processes and suggest system improvements.
